This is a Academy 1/72 B-17G "NOSE ART" Plastic Model Kit

B-17s were the best known U.S. heavy bombers of WWII. Over 12,000 were produced. It was a long range low flying bomber. The G version included an increase of guns from 7 to 13. Many Gs were later converted for cargo hauling, engine testing and reconnaissance.
