The M4A3E8 is the final model of the M4 series that appeared in the latter half of the Battle of the Bulge, and 2,539 of this vehicle were produced from August 1944 to September 1945. After the war, it was also provided to pro-U.S. countries such as the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and other NATO countries.
