Wooden Post Yard Lamps such as these would have been present in any yard or servicing area for steam, diesel or electric locomotives. The thick wooden lamp posts have ladders for easy access to maintain the lamp itself. These (non-working) lights from Scenecraft can be used on any yard layout.
