Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter 3.2mm (9901)**
The Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter 3.2mm (9901) is ideal for shaping, smoothing or removing material from especially hard materials such as hardened and stainless steel, cast iron, hardwoods, nonferrous metals, fired ceramics and especially hard plastics. The accessory is made of tungsten carbide for increased durability.
The cylinder shape and flat tip of the Tungsten Carbide Cutter can be for deep removal of material, cuts flat areas, round edges and makes stop cuts and V-cuts. The accessory tip makes flat-bottom slots and grooves, flat side cuts, and makes V-cuts when held at 45-degrees. Do not use this cutter for drilling holes or for enlarging holes that are less than twice the diameter of the cutter. The tungsten carbide surface can easily catch the side of a hole and break the bit. Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals and very slow speeds for plastics (to avoid melting at the point of contact). If chattering occurs, increase speed.
The Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter 3.2mm (9901) contains one accessory in a pack.
