This is the PPC 1/125 Qantas L-1049 Super Constellation Diecast Model

Up for sale is a brand new 1/125 Qantas Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation VH-EAO “Southern Aurora” (PPC050) by PPC.

This Super Constellation was delivered to Qantas in 1957 and was the 15th of sixteen delivered to Qantas. It was the aircraft that participated in Qantas’ round the world “Goodwill Flight”. It was first retired in 1959 and returned to the US. After a second life there it was returned to Qantas with the name “Southern Prodigal” and eventually retired and scrapped in 1971.

This model aircraft is made from resin and plastic and includes extensive detailing.
