Our fishermen lead busy, demanding and often dangerous lives. This special commission from Cornish artist Steve Cummins captures some of the quieter moments of a fishing day as they unload and deliver their catch, repair nets and meet up with friends. Fishing ports always have a strong sense of community, and that's reflected in this colourful, bustling, and nostalgic scene. Behind the fishery we have fantastic views of the small harbour, its bustling fishing fleet, quaint waterfront pubs, restaurants and the open sea beyond.
