This is a Tamiya 1/35 German 8ton Semi-Track 3.7cm Flak 37 Sd.kfz. 7/2 Armored Cab Type Plastic Model Kit [35144]

This 1/35 scale model kit recreates the German 8ton Semi-Track Sd.kfz 7/2. As World War II progressed and Germany began to lose air superiority amid relentless Allied air raids, the need for stronger ground-based air defenses became critical. This led to the development of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns mounted on tank and half-track chassis. One such vehicle was the 8-ton half-track (Sd.Kfz.7/2). Built on a proven chassis originally used to tow the formidable 88mm gun, the Sd.Kfz.7/2 was adapted to carry a powerful 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon capable of firing up to 160 rounds per minute.
Introduced in 1943, later versions featured additional armour protection for the driver’s position and radiator, enhancing battlefield survivability.
